PINK: The Art of Infatuation and Embellishment is a multimedia project including 2 and 3 dimensional works, a site-specific installation, video and performance art. This project is a continuation of my interest in ethnicity, gender and the role that aesthetics and beauty play in popular culture. PINK: The Art of Infatuation and Embellishment also responds to my obsession with pink, a beautifying agent that applied to skin, objects and creatures provides value, social acceptance and emotional gratification.
